can I change the name of the "links" table?

I already have a table titled "links" so it's not allowing me to install the script. Can I change the name of the vb links table to "links2"? If I manually change the name in the install script, will it mess things up elsewhere?

Can someone please tell me if I'm able to change the name of the database table? I need to find out before I buy the second license for this product. Thanks.
