I am redoing my front page. I recently converted the forums to vb and couldn't be happier. I am using WordPress now but CMPS seems like a better fit for me. I was hoping someone could answer some basic questions for me.

1. How easy is it to manage content in vb cmps? Through the demo I didn't see the screen for adding new content.

2. Does anyone know if there are scripts to convert existing content from Wordpress to VB CMPS? I have 100 'articles' in Wordpress and if I could avoid readding them all manually it would be helpful.

3. Any other thoughts on CMPS would be appreciated. I am not great with graphics, etc. So I love the vb product for the forums. It makes it so much easier for me to modify the look of the forums. I was hoping for something similar here.

Thanks in advance.

One more thing...I just installed this. But I don't see the option for it under my Admincp. I can see the deafult cmps page but I can modify it.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank.

Now it's very easy as you can use BBcode to create your pages. That is you use the exact same WYSIWYG window you have on your forums, the window you're using right now to write your post.

Doh, no idea. I would copy/past the articles in the WYSIWYG window if I were you *barbarian way*, if it's "just" for one hundred articles.

Vbadvanced uses the theme of your forum automatically, so you'll have the same look on your portal as on your forums.

But I don't see the option for it under my Admincp.

You should have, in you admin cp, a "Vba CMPS" tab right under "Vbulletin Options" on the left. If you don't see it, empty your cache and refresh your admin panel. Else, read the instructions again :p.

Thank you for the response. I reinstalled the CMPS and it showed up fine. It is very easy to work with.

In the end I upgraded Wordpress to the newest version. A lot of what I was looking to do was already in place for me. I just changed templates to rearrange what I wanted.

Thank you for taking the time to respond though! Much appreciated.
