The site is for EverQuest that I have been making customized User Interfaces for the general public. I have only recently been using vBadvanced's portal system and I have already attempted & succeeded in altering some coding :)

I have coded in the following:

Custom1 and Custom2 was already there, added Custom3 thru Custom9 which is available for on/off on the control panel.
Added a Static News Section (you see it at the top). The information comes from the hidden forum area I made that I can edit whenever I need to without disrupting any embedded templates. This way I can have a main annoucement on the fly.
Added a Static News Archive Section (currently not shown since I have that turned off in settings).
Small navational menu on left.
Web Links will open in it's entirety, not with the News being on top.
Added a Downloads Link via navbar.
News on the front page does not have a break between each news post.
Few other misc. tweaks.
Of course its just the beginning, not being skinned, but it will be sometime soon. There are 3 current skins to choose from that VBulletin had created (white, grey, classic).

Which file did u have to edit for that? I searched, but could not find how to accomplish the on/off other than on the install.php file.

Looks good ... is the news archive not already running on INDEX and you can switch it on or off in Admin CP?

Only 2 files I edited was the Index and the Install file, then reinstalled.

The news archive is there in the the CP by default, I added yet another archive called "Static Archive" which is also now in the CP default to turn on/off.

Welp, alittle tweaking and editing and that new version "CMPS" works like a dream :D Although had to finally realize that the CMPS was a "replacement" for the vbadvanced Homepage hehe.

Take a look :)

A wow site. Love the details around the module boxes! Very nice work.

Looks great in IE, but your left modules are spaned across the page blowing everything out of whack in Mozilla. Just a heads up.

I made a new skin. I call it Sandstone.. don't ask why, other than the background I thought was sorta like that :)

I think this may even fix that weirdness from that screenie above too.

Let me know what you think =p

your site's one of the nicest vb sites I've seen, I keep checking back every now and then to see what you have added to it ... keep up the good work :)

Decided to make another skin, very simplistic, yet appealing & loads a ton faster :) Though I may change the forum buttons because I think they are alittle tiny. Let me know what you think. :)

Very very nice job!
I'm on the fence about getting vbulletin/vbadvanced. I'm still evaluating things to revamp my website. Seeing things like this sway me towards it.

Great site!!! Can you tell me how you added that radio in - I have a sports site at www.pakistancricketzone.com and im sure all our members would love to have this feature enabled to allow them to listen to games from the site!:)
