I am having problems with my links on the cmps index page.
I've managed to get totally confused by searching the forums.
I want to do two things.
1. correct the links in the nav bar and lower page.
my forum is at www.mysite.com/forum but all the cmps index page links point to www.mysite.com. I went to admincp --> vbadv --> default settings
and found that all the "replacement" are *.php. I tried changing them to forum/*.php and it worked on the lower links but not on the nav links.
should I put the full file path (IE http://mysite.com/forums?*.php?
2. I want to change the links on the front page for "home" to point to www.mysite.com/forum or add a forum button there. I'm not sure where to go to add that button.
Any help would be appreciated.

1. Make sure all the Header, Navbar, and Footer replacements boxes contain the correct file. For example, if the link to the "Search" button in the footer is www.mysite.com and should be www.mysite.com/forum, put seach.php in the Footer Replacement box.
Then make sure the forum URL is set correctly in vBulletin Options.
2. If you want to add a Home link to the navbar in your forum, look at this post. http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=9689
Not sure if that's exactly what you're asking. :)

It doesn't work. When I click the link it shows up as www.myforum.com/index when it should be www.myforum.com/forum/index.
I changed the defaults to http://www.mysite.com/forum/*.php and it didnt correct the issue.

Is this a link in the Navbar or in the Footer?
In your AdminCP -> vBa CMPS -> Default Settings -> Options
The Navbar Replacements should contain files that look like this:
memberlist.php
usercp.php
register.php
faq.php
calendar.php
search.php
login.php
forumdisplay.php
profile.php
private.php
subscription.php
member.php
online.php

I'm running into the same problem -
http://www.bladeforums.com/cmps_index.php
None of the navbar links are working. In "Navbar replacements" I have the following files (default):
memberlist.php
usercp.php
register.php
faq.php
calendar.php
search.php
login.php
forumdisplay.php
profile.php
private.php
subscription.php
member.php
online.php
That said, the footer is working just dandy.

Try going to the vBa CMPS -> Default Settings page and clicking Save even if you haven't made any changes. Maybe that will update the cache.

Copy the navbar replacements into the header replacements just above it and save it. That solved the problem for me

Ozzie's suggestions worked.
