I know that the differences are explained but I want to have it more clear.
I have seem that 95% of the features of the cmps are in the homepage. So the difference betwen both is that in the cmps you can add modules and in the homepage this is not posible?

Some other major differences:
The module system in the CMPS allows you to easily move the modules and such around without editing any files or templates. Also allows you to add custom modules, again without editing any files or templates.
More control over your pages and every default option may be changed on a per page basis, which isn't possible with the homepage.
About the only time I recommend the homepage over the CMPS is if you are planning on drastically changing the look of things, and are comfortable with editing HTML and PHP.
