On the Please Choose a Directory drop down menu in the Submit a Link form, the first directory from the first category in my configuration is missing. I've tried deleting and recreating, changing the order, etc. But whatever I do, the first directory in that first category ends up being missing from the menu.
Any assistance gratefully received.

Bump.
This is a new install (I paid my 35 clams last week), on a nearly-new 3.5.4 vB, with CMPS and just a few standard mods (vbChat, PhotoPlog).
I'd appreciate a response, as this issue is preventing me from putting vbLinks up live.

I have got a similar problem... I tried everything they told me on here and it still doesn't work.
I first installed vbLinks under vB 3.0.1 - worked fine no problems at all.:)
Then I tried under vB 3.5.1 - no directories showed. Checked permissions, cache and even tried reinstalling the templates a few times to no avail. Even did a complete removal, then reinstalled - still no directories!
Last night I upgraded my vBadvanced CMPS 2.0 to 2.1 and vBulletin to 3.5.4 - and what do I see, still no directories.
I agree with a few on here that support has gone 'downhill' - and this issue is causing problems for quite a few people. I'm just going to give this vBLinks Directory the 'push'... it doesn't work under vBulletin 3.5 and above!!!
Unless someone is going to tell me different.

Can I have a link to everyones forums? Also after the upgrades did you re-run the template installs?

Yeah I did re-run template installs, after upgrading. I needed to for some plugins to work. But vBLinks didn't.
You can view my vBLinks install here...

I've only entered one example link after a third attempt of re-installing. :(

Is it possible also to get a test login?

Do you mean a test admin account? If so, I can set one up and PM you the details.

Zachery,
Thankyou for the response.
Please email me (hugh@alaweb.com) so I can give you an admin login.
NOTE that my issue is a little different to syrus.xl's, in that I'm only missing the first category in the first directory from that drop-down menu.

Hugh could you create a ticket instead? Otherwise I will email you when I get back later.

Zach,
I'd rather do this by email. Until I've had a chance to evaluate just how secure all this vB stuff is, I'm reluctant to post admin account details to a public board, even to the ticket system. I've only been playing with vB for a couple of weeks, although I've been a UN*X admin for a couple of decades, and I don't know enough to feel secure yet!
I realize in future it will behoove me to use the ticket system, as it'll help ensure I don't drop off your radar. But just for now, please humor me. I can give you my license key, URL and an admin account by email.

Ah, and my check is no doubt in the post? ;)
I never received an email, but on the bright side, I did finally fix my problem. I went delving in the database, and there was a couple of messed up records in the main links table. I fixed them by hand, everything is now copacetic.
Thanks anyway.

Zachery,
Just for poop and grins, can you attempt to email me again? I'd like to make darn sure my various assorted turbo laser driven spam filters aren't shooting your stuff down for some reason.
