Very nice styles but they are to common... Maybe I should ask for some special skins instead..

No styles, by default will work for vBadvanced because the skins were not designed for them.

However they can be applied to the templates.

There is a link for custom work on the homepage :)

That depends on how they're designed. Most of the more complicated ones will probably require some modifications to the templates for them to work with vBa exactly as they do with the forums. Some of the simpiler ones though will not. :)

I know that the pro style from vBulletin.nl would work by default with very little modifcation to vBa's templates

and im almost positive the style i will be releasing will work with the default templates.

The HardWired Skin works with minimal modifications to the vbAdvanced templates.

You can see it in action at www.gamesorceress.com.

One more place to check out is http://www.extremepixels.com -- Several customers brought vbAdvanced to the skin creators attention and he verified that his skins would work (I'm using some myself to get started with).

You can find Pank's thread about using his skins with vbAdvanced here: http://www.extremepixels.com/forum/showthread.php?t=650

My template works perfectly with CMPS, designed by VBdesign (http://vbdesign.co.uk) . Talk to Matt, he's reasonable and won't break your wallet.

Check out my skin: FordContour.Org (http://www.fordcontour.org)

Ahh thanks...

That wouldn't be the fault of vBAdvanced though. Seems like a bug in the skin itself. Looks good on the outside but the insides are all convoluted even for a table-based design.

Yes, thank you. I had heard from a few customers the skins pretty much worked right out of the box and I had to check for myself. I was amazed how easy the fit was. Since then I have been promoting your product to my customers. Keep up the great work!

I've bought numerous styles from almost all well known site design sites. I've also used a variety of portals. What I've learned is, that you have to be prepared for making modifications. Extremepixels, vbskins, vbforumskins (when they were still around), vbskinz, and many more...will do basic alteration, but when you try to add a portal, there will always be some things that don't look right that will need to be fixed (even if the designer makes the skin for a specific portal - doesn't ever seem as if any of the mass market skinners will catch everything that should be changed/modified).

For that reason, I finally went the high-road and hired a "professional" skinner for a custom/exclusive design. I've had to modify the style to make it work right for CMPS, and I'm still working on it actually (need to add my real features and more navigation before I allow it to go "live"-- it's a beta design for a current live site that I hope to move over to soon). The beta skin: http://www.myfamilycorner.net/index.php?s=&styleid=12 (it's not really a family site, it's for my debate site...I'm just using an unused domain name I have while I develop the skin further).

I'm quite happy with it thus far...the look of it came out great. But the actual work on it was VERY slow by the skinner due to a few reasons that didn't seem to be very "professional". But, I'm a little more patient than most perhaps, and the design is top notch IMO, so it's worth it in the long run.
