vBadvanced CMPS v2.2.0 (works with vBulletin v3.6) is now available for public download here. For those wishing to upgrade or download for the first time, please follow the links to download the CMPS from the 'Programs / Scripts' link on the homepage here.

For those who are upgrading, simply download the new package, upload all files over your existing ones, point your browser to the cmps_install.php file that was uploaded to your admincp directory, and choose the option to upgrade.

Enjoy! :)
Much thanks!!!

vBulletin 3.6.B3 is now available. (http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showthread.php?t=189358) I upgraded my B2 site with CMPS 2.2.0 to B3 and everything went smooth, no issues with CMPS after the upgrade.

And a :p to Brian for the table prefix variable.... I think that's one of those programming ticks that's going to haunt him forever. :D

This is a pleasant suprise, I thought I would be holding off upgrading to 3.6 while I waited for my 3rd part apps to be upgraded. Cheers!

Only issue I had was my images didnt work after upgrading. I tried the selection for the images after the upgrade, still no luck.

My ultimate fix was simply uninstalling vbadvanced and reinstalling. Since I didnt have any pages created or any major work to have to do on either site, it was no big deal.

Just thought I would throw that out there for reference in case anyone else is having this issue. Thanks for updating the product so quickly for 3.6

Any new features or is this a compatibility update?

Any new features or is this a compatibility update?Compatibility update only. With CMPS 2.2.0 the code is now forked in three paths, vB 3.0.x (CMPS 2.0.0), vB 3.5.x (CMPS 2.1.0), and vB 3.6.x (CMPS 2.2.0+).

Installed on a test forum & iget page error

line 303
char 1
Error 'ns4' is undefined
code 0
url : http://www.boardsie.com

Any ideas?

I have this running on my live site now..
I still get this page error.
It only happens when the page is opened first. If the page refreshes the error goes.
Any ideas on this please..

Does this work with Beta 4? Whenever I try to install I get an Admin Hash Mismatch.

No it does not, there was some code changes from Beta3 to Beta4 and some have to deal with the password hashing and other things, so it is not compatable with Beta4.

RC1 gives the same Admin Hash Mismatch.

I actually used the fix that Zachariah posted in the same thread where you posted, and it seemed to work. That's probably the better route to take, since it doesn't require editing any vBulletin files.

Is it the installer not running now or the admincp not working?

ConqSoft
07-11-2006, 02:04 AM
My problem was the installer. Once I made that change to the installer to include the hidden form field, the upgrade to 2.2.0 went fine. (I was previously running vB 3.5.4 and CMPS 2.1.0.)

Even using the fix in the installer file, I cannot use AdminCP options without the Hash error. :/

I can't get this thing to work. I keep getting this error
Warning: main(./modules/vbgallery_block.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /includes/vba_cmps_include_bottom.php on line 360

Fatal error: main(): Failed opening required './modules/vbgallery_block.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php') in /xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx/includes/vba_cmps_include_bottom.php on line 360

I had to uninstall that gallery script since I purchased it here and days later it gets sold. now can get no support for the thing, don't have more money to pay photopost or whoever they are for access to their support/upgrade.

I uninstalled it, but I'm still getting that error, so can't run cmps - its totally wrecked my site. Its bad enough I lose $100 for a gallery script I can't use, but not being able to remove the files properly is absurd. I don't get why my $100 was taken and soon as it was in someone else's bank account, all support ceases. Five emails I've sent this site and zero response.

Anyhow, Anyone wants a gallery and links script just let me know, absolutely no good to me - I assume nobody can stop me transferring the licences to someone else. I want to know how I remove gallery from showing up in my vbulletin admin and get the cmps to work - until I recreate my site (was created by using the add pages to cmps thing) I can't uninstall cmps

TIA

You've added a gallery module but it seems theres no module to be called, remove the gallery module from your CMPS and the issue should go away. If it does not please open either a suppor ticket or post a NEW thread.

Zachery,

I found that I did continue to get the mismatch error on some parts of the CMPS AdminCP, but not all. So your fix was still needed.

An email was supposed to have been sent to you about the new PhotoPost account and how to access it. You shouldn't have to pay anything additional at this point (assuming that your initial purchase was within the 1 year license period).

Just send me a PM over on PhotoPost and I'll try to point you in the right direction to downloading an updated copy.

{PS: Don't yell at me but the vBa Links and vBa Gallery [renamed to PhotoPost vBGallery] licenses are non-transferrable. :o }

Great, first I'm sold out here, and whatever the protests, it FEELS like I've been ripped off, then I find I can't even give away the stuff I paid for. EH? then why was my gallery licenced TRANSFERED to someone else? How comes one rule for the site owner raking in the dosh, and another for the punters, most of whom have to save for this software? Bizarre.

Anyway, I've had my whine, I have uninstalled gallery, but it is messing up my tables so I can't even install the new VB version. Totally screwed by this website :( How do I remove all vbgallery files? and why does it still show up in my admin file?
Thanks Kevin but I'm not joining photopost, any update to make the stuff work or to uninstall the stuff should be free anyway. I can fully understand why people run unlicensed stuff, that's the way I'll go from hereonin. :(

FYI, the latest 2.2.0 upgrade worked perfectly on my 3.6 RC1 site. Main mods I'm running are PhotoPlog Pro, vbA Links, v3 Arcade, pJIRC Chat and AnyMedia.

It's taken me less than a day to get pretty much everything upgraded from 3.5.4 to 3.6 RC1. The only stuff left is little niggly bits and pieces on child-styles.

I would still like to see it fixed so that the program uses a prefix for images and urls so that you don't have to use full urls in vb. This would make it more compatible with other add on programs.

Drupal can do it, so can you!

Thanks for this great piece of software! Will there be any addons, new stuff added sometime soon?

We are choosing not to do it to save more processing power.

http://www.vbadvanced.com/products.php?do=listallorder&catid=0&productid=4

You can get there by following the Home link on the navbar, then Programs / Script from the Services box (top left). Then select the Download link for the product you need.

I think the problem is that on this page (http://www.vbadvanced.com/products.php?do=productinfo&p=4) at the bottom, it says the current version is 2.1.0 and there is a download link. You wouldn't know to click that link to get the 2.2.0 version because there is nothing said about that version on the front page or any other page except in the forums. And here in the forums, there is no direct link to it either. It's confusing.
