First I just want to say ive been a fan since myvbindex, its really great to see a competent coder releasing all these useful scripts and providing consistently high-quality support, even more so doing it for free for so long (maybe comes from your PLUR background? :) )

anyways, i have a couple questions about the capabilities of VBA links:

1. is bb img code or html accepted in the top level link information? I would like to put graphic banners for affiliates in addition to information about the website

2. Is there a way to use vbalinks for searchable/sortable files as well? Kind of like a downloads directory. Would this be done through custom fields?

thanks!

BB code is accepted in posts, but not in the links themselves... Though this will probably be an option in a future version.
It *could* be used as a files directory... It doesn't include any options to upload files or anything like that though.

Yes, but does it had the paths of those files and allow you to restrict access by usergroup?

You could enter a path, but there aren't really any directory permissions based on usergroups yet, other than having private directories and controlling what usergroups have access to those. ;)

Hmmm... that is a bummer quite a needed feature for me. Will have to keep looking.

Even thought this is a pre-sale forum and I have purchased Links licence, ability to have a thumbnail page image would be my No.1 request/wish. Since vBulletin 3 creates own thumbnail images, I wonder if there is a way of displaying them in their own column on main links pages.

Keep up the good work.
