Hi,
In some portals I've used before, theres the message system that you can show to visitors.. in CMPS I used a module at the very top using a template
this is all fine... and no problem for me.. but the main admin of one site can't really edit that as he is not really into this tech stuff
now each time he wants to update that message, I have to do it for him
I need a way to make it simple/easy and no worry of messing things up
I thought of creating a hidden forum and make "module" that points to one thread ID in that forum and displayes it all the time, with no read more or reply or nothing of that..
now if I could do that, the admin could just edit that post everytime he wants to update the message.. (not deleting the thread ID)
my issue is how can I simply make the thread show in CMPS instead of just a link? that will really help me and I am sure many others
in another words.. how can I display the full thread just by inserting its link without the need to click on it? :)
