Hello,
I've just upgraded my board from version 3.0.0 beta to 3.0.3. I installed the Vbadvanced, however now I have several problems that I hope someone could help direct me to correct:
1. Default Settings on the vba CMPS - there are NO options that show in admin control panel
2. Edit Modules - none of the installed modules that came with the package are there in admin control panel
3. It is doing some strange discoloration bar above every heading in control panel now in control panel
4. The cmps_index.php is blank ( and I've tried doing full path and just leaving it as ./forums )
My forum works fine...I have tried installing this with my beta before I knew it wasn't compatible. I'm not sure if these problems is why it's not working. I hope someone could help steer me in the right direction.
Thanks,
babycarrots

Not sure how you could lose the options and modules... Would you mind just filling out a support ticket so I can have a look and see what the problem is?

Hello,
Well I am in the process of filling out a ticket but I have no idea how to create another admin account but all I keep getting is this error:
Sorry, this user is protected from being altered in the config.php file by the $undeletableusers variable.
Is it really necessary to give you your own admin account...I couldn't just give you mine?
Thanks,

Giving me your admin info is fine. Some people just don't like giving out their actual password and such, so that's why it's suggested that you create a new account. ;)

I got everything showing in my admincp (thanks again for your help), but now everytime I try to go to cmps_index.php in my root index, it is blank. What could this mean and what can I do to fix this? My full path to forums directory is correct. I've done it a million times.
Thanks,

I just went to 3.0.3 last night. No problems in the admincp at all but the front page loads blank no matter what I do. I've double checked all my code includes to make sure I didn't miss one anywhere.
Everything worked fine under 3.0.1, incidentally. If I need to fill out a ticket I can but I figured since I was having the same problems as babycarrots

I have already...I'm just waiting for Brian to get back with me
But anyway... I was thinking... since I've altered the instructed php pages in dreamweaver, do you suppose this is why I'm getting a blank screen? I've read some posts about people saying that dreamweaver does strange things or something and that it's suggested that you use notepad when altering the phps. I'm just really grasping at straws here.

That could be the issue. I edited my files with DW once and it messed things up. Reuploaded the files after editing them with notepad, no problems.

I had tried to FTP into your server again earlier, but for some reason was having a problem again. I had to run some errands and was about to start checking the support tickets right after I checked the posts... Now that you've mentioned that you used Dreamweaver though, there's a 99% chance that's your problem. Try getting a fresh, un-hacked version of the files you modified and re-apply the changes using Notepad or another simple text editor.

I was smart enough to save those files before I started messing with them. I'll let you know how it goes.

You can always download the zip package from the members area at vbulletin.com. ;)
