I'm having a problem with some quoted text not wrapping properly. At first I thought it was due to the style I'm using but even with the default style I have the same issue.
An example can be seen http://www.farpointstation.org/cmps_index.php?styleid=1 and then scrolling down about half-way to the Jolene Blalock message.
Thoughts?

It looks like you may not have the 'Maximum News Characters' option set to a high enough number to allow for the end of the quote.

I've got it set to 0 right now. When I left it at the defaults it was causing problems in that subsequent messages after the first one with a big quote would appear inside of the quote of the message above it. That's why I set it to 0.
I just set it back to 1000; if you take a look again you'll see what I mean about the subsequent threads being in the quote of the message above.
For the guys that didn't see the problem, did you scroll down to the Jolen Blalock message? Some of the threads work fine but others have problems.
Thanks,
Kevin

Hmm.... Would you mind filling out a support ticket via the Members Area here so I can have a look?

HHHmm..... some additional experimenting.......
When set to max = 0 ....
I'm using IE 6.0.28 with my screen size set to 1280x1024 -- it looks the problem encountered with the Jolene Blalock message only appears when I make my IE window bigger than a certain size. If I keep it as a narrow window it works but if I stretch it out further until it nearly fills the screen then it happens. As long as the screen is narrow enough that the quoted part appears directly underneath the avatar it looks fine but as soon as the screen is large enough that it is no longer wrapped under the avatar then it happens.
Edit: Here's a screen shot with IE narrowed (http://farpointstation.org/images/temp/vba1.JPG) and a screen shot of the IE window slightly larger (http://farpointstation.org/images/temp/vba2.JPG).

I *think* it's something to do with the avatar and quote tables clashing... I'll be checking it out on my localhost to see what the problem is and make sure it's prevented in future versions. :)
Oh, and I replied to your support ticket with a simple temporary fix as well. ;)

Cool. At least I know now that I'm not cracking up and the problem was not the result of me screwing something up. :D
Thanks,
Kevin

I have a simular problem on my forum, when quotes are used in news messages.
I took some screen, that will explain my problem.
You know what causes and how to solve this?
Thanks.

Up the limit :)

Up the limit :)
This will not solve the problem, atleast, thats what I am thinking. If I up the charcount to, let's say 1200, I still get this error if between the 0 and the 1201 is a quote.
Is there no other way?

I haven't tried this yet, but it looks like it would work pretty well.
