How can I make a block that will show a Forum and its subforums? The subforums and forums would be active links redirecting you to the actual forum. And that when you add forums trough the Admin panel, the block would automatically get updated with the forums changes...

Hope that makes sense...

any ideas? or similar block already created?

Interesting :) all the forums or just a selected forum?

Also it will depend on which page you want to display them on - for instance, I'm pretty sure you could do this on something like forumhome, but not on say... editpost :)

not clear on what you're talking about :) sorry

do you mean to have a block lets say has

Games and Fun Forum

+(link) baseball (/link)
+(link) ring the neighbor's door bell (/link)

is that what you meant?

exactly that is what i'm looking for... i know it can be done manually, making a block and adding the links one by one... but i want to know if there is a way to do it, so that in a module i can select a forum and that blcok will display a specific forum and its subforums... but automatically... that way if i in the future delete a forum or move it etc... the block changes automatically....

It would need to be a center block otherwise the titles would have to wrap making it look awful IMO if used in the left or right columns...

I'd like to have this too...

I have a navbar drop down of forums and I have to change it anytime I add, delete or even re-order the forums.

I am looking for a wage to have the sub forums for the latest threads forums on new vB CMPS pages. Basically I want to show new threads (which I have setup now) but I need to add a center block to show the subforums of a specified forum.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Andy
