Are you talking about the news posts? If so, just enter a value for your 'News Forum ID' option. ;)

I have The "News forum ID" set to 2 (Which is a forum with posts) but in my homepage only appears the news archive.

Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Edit Pages
Once there, click on 'Home / Default' and look for your 'News Posts Maximum' option. Make sure that is not set to 0.
