Verify New Links? Option

Regardless of which option (yes or no) I chose the links are automatically posted to the directory and do not appear in the section for validation. Is there something else I need to do to require the links be validated prior to them being added to the directory?

That checks to see if the website that is entered is actually valid or not...

Set this option to 'Yes' if you would like to check links and make sure they exist before they are allowed to be submitted. This option will help prevent broken links from being posted, but may also create problems if a server is down or otherwise unaccessable.

Moderation of links is a usergroup option...

Thank you for pointing me in the right direction. I've got this option working the way I wanted it to now.
