Did I screw up? I am in the process of uploading the files for the vBulletin 3 upgrade. When I complete the file transfer will I have to modify the vBulletin files again for my links directory to work? In the future is there any way around this?
Why can't the files from vBulletin that have to be modified be included in the package of files for the links directory?

For your last question, that would be illegal, you should try reading the license agreement some time, not to mention most people install more than one hack, which would make that process useless.
You will have to reedit the files, its how its always been with vBulletin.

Thanks for the info.
By the way, I did read the license agreements. But was under the impression that vBadvanced and vBulletin are both entities of the same company, thus could have an agreement for the files to be included. My mistake. Guess the two aren't related.

As Zachery said, you will always have to re-edit the files when you upgrade your vBulletin. We have tried to make the number of file modifications as minimal as possible though and it should take less than 5 minutes to make the changes. :)

Nope, we are in no way affiliated with Jelsoft.
