Is there a way to add a "News Source" option when posting news and have it appear at the bottom of each news post? Does that make sense?

I'm looking to have a text box say underneath the post title where I can enter a link and then it would appear something like this:

Source: CNN

Or something like that.

And also so only specified forums will show the option to add a source.

I would love to see this 'hack' option also, any one got any ideas?

Same here. My last front-end system was Coranato so I ended up creating a custom field just for that purpose -- I was able to even take it one step farther by the defining a substition value so that by tying in just "CNN" it would automatically turn into a link (I did that for most of the new sources I usually cruise). Made life really easy.

Now I just have to remember to include a URL in the body of the message itself when I'm quoting stuff.
