After submitting a link, my browser just goes to a blank page. When I check in the admincp, the links are there awaiting moderation (like they should be). Shouldn't something other than a blank page come up after submitting a link? I reran the template install, didn't fix anything.
Hopefully, I'll get an answer quicker than here (http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=17734) where I'm still waiting.....
Thanks In Advance
Regards,
Scott

Try downloading the most recent package, reinstalling templates/phrases and see if this fixes the issue.

magnaromagna,
Did you try reinstalling both the templates and the phrases with the admincp/vbalinks_install.php file? If that doesn't help, could you please submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here so I can have a look at things?

Is there any reason you're running vBa Links 1.0 instead of 2.0? If not, I would suggest upgrading.

I read in the forum some users having problem with upgrading to ver 2.0, and... I had translated some text to japanese, and also some template I had changed... so.. I prefer stick with ver 1.
But this problem... occured before I changed anything from the original.
So.. could you point out... which part of scripts should I look into ? .. and what might causes this blank page ?
Thanks.

So after i submit a link here:
http://www.smartforum.jp/link/addlink.php
I get:
The URL you entered is not valid. Please make sure that you have entered a valid URL.
Any ideas why?
(i can check the server from ssh console, everything works).
Thanks.
Adrian.

Admin CP => vBa Links Directory => Modify Settings => Verify New Links
Try turning that option off and you should be able to submit links.

I use ver 1.0
and I prefer stick on this version... because I had modified some scripts.
NOTE, This problem exist before I modified anything.
After user submit a link, the page just blank. but actually the new link is added in the database.
Any idea what part of script should I look into ?
Thanks.

There's nothing else I can think of off the top of my head that would cause a blank page. If you'd like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here though I'll be glad to take a look.

Hi Brian.
Thanks... I think I had solved the problem.
I bought vbadvanced LINK only, without cmps.. when I add link.. it was looking for this file : vba_cmps_include_error.php (inside include directory)
but... somehow.. this file is NOT included in the link scripts zip file.
after I add this file... the problem dissapear.
