Recent threads not displaying posts from sub-sub-forums

I searched for this pretty extensively, but didn;t find it asked before.

I have a forum structure like this:

Forum1
---Forum 2
--- --- Forum 3

In my recent threads module, no posts from forum 3 (sub-forum of forum 2, which is sub-forum of forum 1) are appearing.

I have confirmed that the threads in forum 3 fall within the date range that would place them in the top 15 recent threads, and so they should appear in the list. In my module settings, I have ensured that forum 3 is added to the list of selected forums, and have even tried setting "Apply forum permissions" to no. Still nothing.

Is this a bug, or am I missing a setting somewhere? :confused:

There's no reason I'm aware of that would happen, other than the ones you've said that you've already checked. If you'd like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here though I'll be glad to take a look at things for you.

I'm sorry to dig up an old thread, but I'm wondering if you found a solution to this? I am having the exact same problems in that I do not see any posts from any of the subforums on my recent threads listing.

Eta: My board structure is simply:

Category
--Forum
----SubForum

its a setting in the AdminCP somewhere. I can;t remember where though...

Hmmmm... Well, I've searched through all my forum permissions and through all my module settings. I must be missing something because I can not figure out how to correct this. I am not getting anything from any of my sub-forums. Anyone else with any ideas?


eta: nevermind. I completely overlooked the settings of a page I created. my bad.

I'm having the same issue.
Here is my layout:

-Category
--Forum #1
---Sub-Forum #1
---Sub-Forum #2

Whenever I am in forum #1 I see the two sub-forums at the top of the page and then I have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the side menu bars to see the threads in the forum.

Any ideas?

If you're talking about the way threads are displayed within a forum then that wouldn't have anything to do with the CMPS. You'll need to ask for help at vbulletin.com instead.
