That table should have been added during the upgrade process... If you can, check through phpMyAdmin to see if the table is actually there. If it is, you should be able to save one of your categories to update the category cache, and then use the install file to reinstall your templates (those should be the only steps missed if the install made it that far). If the table is not there, would you mind submitting a support ticket so I can take a look at things and try to figure out why it wasn't added?
I ended up doing the phpmyadmin thing and Uninstalling using both 2.0.2 and 2.0.0 links_install.phps... it was quite troublesome though.
Almost seemed as if the uninstall didn't quite remove everything.
Oh, and.. I had this error as well. http://www.vbadvanced.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18210
But, all up and running now. ;)

I also checked my database through phpmyadmin, but can't see the table there.
What really could be the problem.

I'm really not sure how you would get that error since that table *should* have been added during the upgrade as one of the first steps. If you'd like to submit a support ticket though I'll be glad to take a look at things for you.

did you find the problem? I hope you got my support ticket. I am really desperate to find out the problem and the solution so that I will be able to solve them if I get any such later.
thanx
