View Full Version : Got a couple of questions

I am new to this and its starting to get frustrating...

1)I am trying to add the New block in the center column but it wont show up, the News archive works with the threads but the News Block wont even show up.

2)We got the logo up but the link to it is to the index.php (same as the CMPS), but we want it to go to the /forums/ or /forums/index.php where our forums are, Need help on doing that as well

3) Finally I want to change the NavBar on the CMPS page from 'UserCP' to 'Forums' and in the /Forums folder from 'UserCP' to Home. I still want a UserCP button and may want to replace the FAQ button (which is right next to it). I did see the thread on this below and will use that..forgot to mention this

I got #3 done...just looking for the first 2 to be answered to point a link to how i can fix it

1) Check that you have your 'News Posts Maximum' set to a value other than 0 (0 is supposed to enable all, but that's a bug in the current version). Also check that the module is active on that particular page (Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Edit Pages => Click on 'Default / Homepage and make sure the module is checked there). If you're sure about those two things, please fill out a support ticket via the Members Area here and I'll be glad to take a look.

2). You'll need to edit your header template. In there you will find the link... Just change it $vboptions[bburl] and that should cause it to always point to your forums.

yah as gator said are news archive seems to be working but not listing the news as it is doing here on this page i did check in the Admincp as you said yous hsould still have all my info to login and check... also are polls will not show up at all and we belive all the settings are right for that as well.. these are the last 2 things we need to get working to have it all done.

Your login information was deleted when the ticket was closed (that's done for security reasons). If you would like to submit a trouble ticket via the Members Area here though I'll be glad to take a look.
