I tried to go to the members area and download CMPS gold, but it told me I didn't own any licenses. So, I went to the post with the instructions and got the password, but when I clicked on the post to enter it, it told me "You have already proven your license status. There is no need to enter it again."

I checked at vbulletin.com to make sure that the e-mail addy that I used here is included and it was/is...

help? :o

You don't need a licnese for the free products. Just go to the 'Products / Scripts' section and follow the links there. ;)

Hello,
I tried to download CMPS by following this link:
http://www.vbadvanced.com/products.php?do=productdownload&p=4
However it told me that I don't have any license.
Isn't it a free product?

Yes it is, but it requires vbulletin, which does require a legal license :)

If you'll follow the instructions on this page (http://www.vbadvanced.com/?page=license) then you should be able to upgrade your account here and download our products.

Brian, I am getting the same thing. I am told I don't have any licenses when I try to access the members area, but when I try to upgrade, it tells me I've already proven my license status.

Do I have to buy a license if I want to read the forum posts in the "vBadvanced Products" categories?

You have to have a valid vBulletin license and update your account here before you will be able to read threads.

I don't have a license, yet. In fact I'm very interested in buying one, and also the vBadvanced Links Directory. I don't understand why the theads of "Pre-Sale Questions" are not open to public. I really want to ask related questions. Actually I may have anwsers if I can read those threads then you won't have to response these kind of "license questions" over and over. I try not bothering you guys but I failed. I'm sorry. Anyway my real question is, does the Links Directory handle images and other attachements?
Thank you very much.

I can see your point about letting unlicensed members view the pre-sales forum and have updated the permissions so that you should be able to view and post in that forum.
To answer your question, no, the links directory does not allow for image uploads. Not sure if it would be of any use or if you specifically need a links directory that allows for image uploads, but we are working on a gallery script that handles uploads.

Thanks again for your quick response. I am looking forward to your gallery script that integrated with vbb/link directory.
