vBadvanced Links Directory 2.0 RC1 has just been released and is available in the Members' Area for existing license holders. This is mostly a maintenance release to fix all currently known bugs, and bring the product up to "Release Candidate" status. Other than bug fixes, there are a few new options worth mentioning.

Maximum Keywords Allowed
This setting allows you to specify a maximum number of keywords that may be included when submitting links.

Maximum Keyword Length
This setting allows you to specify a maximum number characters that each keyword may contain.

Remote Site Function
This option will allow you to specify which function to use (currently CURL or fsockopen) to use to connect to remote sites. These functions are used for things like checking for invalid URL's entered upon submission, and Status Reports. Before, CURL was always used if available. That has created problems on some sites, so we have changed this to a user selectable option.

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if this most updated version of vBa Link Directory works with vbulletin 3.5.4? And if so, is there anything special I need to do when upgrading?

Thanks,

Nuguru :)

No, 2.0 works with vB 3.6+.

Hallo,
I have downloaded and installed on my vB3.6.2 vBaLinks directory RC1
As vBadvanced CMPS221 was already installed on my vB the new link installation require me to overwrite 2 files during FTP upload. 1 is logo image and the second is a file placed in includes

is that correct? I overwrited the existing. is all compatible with cpms221?

edit:
k sorry for silly question. vba_global_error.php of both are identical.
apologize for my bad english and i realize i could be in a wrong thread :\
