Welcome Block

What do i have to do to get the welcome block to work i see in as a module thing i can add please let me know what info has to be put into the areas of the module and how do you enter the text for the welcome block thanks..

Your welcome block module is already working. It's the module in the top left that allows a user to log in, and then shows their avatar, new PMs, and new posts when they are logged in. ;)
