Setting an existing vbulletin php file as a module..

I wanted to try to make a module out of forumhome (called forum.php for me)... but I can't select it as a file, because the list of files doesnt allow me to enter my own and its not located in the 'modules' folder.

I realise that I can wrap module bits around forumhome from within forumhome, but I'm trying something a little different (long story).

Is what I want even possible? - if I could select the file, would it even work?

You would need to edit the file a bit and create a new file to go in the /forum/modules folder.

that equates to 'no' for me at this stage... I might revisit it if/when it becomes absolutely necessary.
