Is there a modification that I can do to allow for a small image or tumbnail to be added to the news section of the main portal page that would be placed directly to the left of the text and not above or below? I'm not sure if this is a change that needs to be done to vbulletin itself.

I need a little clarification. I would replace my existing file with this one from your link: adv_portal_newsbits.txt. Do I just add the image as I would normally do in the thread and it will display it in this manner?
