I just upgraded my server to apache2 with php5.1 and the ioncube loader 5.1 on windows and not I am getting this error:

PHP parse error: parse error, unexpected '(' in c:\websites\myforum\includes\vba_cmps_include_bottom.php(429) : eval()'d code on line 1

I was not getting this error with apache1.33 / php 5.1 and the ioncube loader 5.0 on windows

any ideas where this might be coming from.

vba_cmps still loads, it just throws this error.

thanks in advance.

Yep, I upgraded one of my dev boxes to the same specs and get the same errors :(
Got my resident coder looking into it as we speak.......

Do you have any custom modules? Sounds like the error is from a template module with invalid code in it.

For what its worth, I'm running PHP 5.1.4 with IonCube loader v3.1.23 on a Windows 2003 server and I'm not having any problems.

I'm really not sure why the new software would result in that error. If someone who's having that problem could submit a support ticket though I'll be glad to take a look at things.
