I plan to move my vbulletin site up from 3.0.7 to 3.6.3

My CMPS is the 3.0.7 version one. Will I lose all my custom modules (sponsors) when I uprade to the latest version of Vbadvance CMPS 2.2.1? Also, we changed the CMPS's name to /index.php? and our forum to /forum.php?
Will I run into any problems when updating with my system set up like this? Or do I need to copy and re-do all my sponsor modules?

Thanks guys. if this has been answered please link me to it asI searched but did not find.

thanks

No, you should not lose any modules or anything else during the upgrade. Just upgrade vBulletin as you would normally, then upgrade the CMPS right afterwards. Also don't forget to rename your vB index.php file once you've done the upgrade and you shouldn't have any problems.

Lost all of them! Upgraded Vbulletin, it went perfect. Went to upgrade my CMPS and all my modules are gone. I tried your plan, and it just totally ruined the look of my site, using the old 3.0.7's templates. I had images missing in many spots.
So............ if I manually re-install all the custom modules one at a time will this work? I'll use 'as template' because that's how I know how to code them. Should I choose default CMPS settings first because right now in my CMPS admin panel it looks like my old modules are there, but they are not?

Thanks

They weren't "lost". Something weird just happened with the styles when you upgraded and those templates were no longer inherited, or perhaps they were moved to the default style for some reason. As you should have seen when you changed the parent style though, those modules are still there and will work fine as long as the templates for those modules exist in the style you have set. So instead of re-installing each module, just re-create the templates that are used for them in your metal style.
