I think it happens with vb 3.6.3 or 3.6.2 and Firefox 2.0. I do not have the same problem with vb 3.6.1.

3.6.4 is now out. Maybe that will help fix the problem... I'm going to upgrade my site tomorrow.

Our users are having the same problem with 3.5.4 and firefox
I followed the instructions in the faq and it get stranger...
i close the browser. clear the cookies... open the browser and go to our site. put in the username and password...... and guess what....It works wooohooo great stuff....
BUT
if i close the browser again after that and open it again go back to our site then its the same old story again.... put in username and password it redirects back to the index and it appears that im not logged in, if i click on usercp however then all of a sudden im logged in and for the rest of the session i stay logged in, untill i close the browser...
(I have no problem setting my firefox to clear cookies when i close the browser, but i dont think our users would be to happy with that)
weird huh?
suggestion would be well appreciated.

I didnt read and try everything u suggested in the faq brian.
change the setting to ".yoursite.com" (note the 2 dots!). Save your settings, close your browser, clear your cookies, and then try logging in again.
That fixed it for me.
THANX BRIAN UR THE MAN.....
