I would like to change to vBa since the only module that I am using at present is the one for Content.

However that is where I am having a problem, I have about 400 articles in my content module. What I am wondering is if there is a way to put them all in the forum DB with each category being its own forum and keeping all of the date information.

From there it would be a simple matter of installing vBa and making a page with some recent article blocks.

Thanks in advance for the help.

capebretoner,

I think Brian has helped before with moving vBPortal articles to the vB forums so I'll need to let him weigh in on this one.

Thanks, I am not in a huge rush yet, I will not be making any huge changes till the New Year. Just want to be sure that it is possible in case I have to start transferring them

I don't believe I ever have done anything like that with vBportal. If you have someone you can hire that's good with PHP and familiar with vBportal though, it probably wouldn't be *too* hard to write an import script.

I was afraid that you were going to say that.

There are a number of vbPortal users out there that don't need to be using it. If you want to increase your usership you should think about looking into make an importer.......

I will probably simply start a new forum and transfer all of the articles manually.
