Conditionals for custom fields?

Hello,

I thought I can find an eazy way to have thumbnail images in browse links template by combining the thumbshots.org service and individually uploaded thumbs for sites not listed in dmoz.

I thougth creating a custom field to enter an image (thumb) url will be eazy to use later to display the image anywhere I want. :eek: and in case such an url is not entered the thumbshots.org thumbs could be desplayed.

Simple concept right?

But I cant find a conditional if the customfield exist or doesn't exist for a paticular linkid. I can not find how to display the entered url either :( ...

Could you give some advices?

They are displayed today in the link status field (new, old, hot..)

I am using a free service today that wont last much time.

I would like to have alternatives - either the user is submiting an url of a thumbnail (or other 120x90 image) or a thumbnail from a free provider will be used (like thumbshots.com)

You should be able to edit your 'adv_links_linkbit' template and add "$links[fieldX]" to display that custom field.
