I upgraded to version 2.0.0 and just added a new category. I am unable to see the category in the ACP under vBa Links Directory > Manage Categories. How can I access the directories to edit or delete them?

Did you add the new category through the Admin CP or the user side?
You may want to try going to http://yoursite.com/forum/admincp/vba_links_admin.php?do=rebuildparents to make sure it's not a problem with the category parent list.

I added it in the Admin as an administrator. I ran the rebuild but with the same result. The category was created and is visible on the site but cannot be seen in the Admin to edit or delete. I acutally created the category twice since I did not see it the first time. So I now have two sub-categories of the same name as seen here: Fishing Forums and Websites (http://www.ncangler.com/links/index.php) under the General Links Category.

The parentlist thing is the only thing I can think of off the top of my head. Would you mind submitting a support ticket so I can have a look at some things and figure out what the problem is?

I'll submit a ticket right now. Probably something I'm doing wrong but I can't figure out what it would be, so thanks for taking a look. :)

I had the same problem last night/this morning (I've been up with this all night). First installation messed up. After our sub-categories were created and some sites submitted, all of a sudden we couldn't manage the subcategories. The "tree" disappeared in the acp, and was replaced with a + sign. When we clicked on the + sign, it changed to a - sign, but still no sub-cats!

Soooooooo...we uninstalled and reinstalled again. After an hour or so, the same thing happened again! Just for the hell of it, I went to Maintenance in the vB acp, clicked on repair / optimize, and ran that. The + signs are still there, but now, clicking on them produced the sub-categories tree!!
