Hi,

Well i'm having this permissions problems with the cmps, i use cmps as my index page.. and well i created some usergroups and gave them permission to have access to everything (this usergroup is called "senior members) whos task is to moderate our forums, a problem however, is that they can access evertying, but when they go to the index page... they receive a "you have no access to this page" error, as i said, my index.php is the cmps... i think i need to add the permissions code from the original forum index.php but im not sure on how to accomplish this...

can someone please help me?

Did you go to your "Default / Homepage" in CMPS cp, and click on the new usergroups?

I am having this same issue. I created a new usergroup in the admincp. They group has access to everywhere except the index page for vbadvanced. I get the same message as Polo. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Admin CP => vBa CMPS => Edit Pages => Default / Homepage
Set the permissions there so that group has access to the page.

Man I love this place. Search for a problem and find the answers. You da man Brian. I created this same problem when I created a new usergroup - but making a fast search found the answer.

I feel like such a dumbass. I ran into the same problem and thought it was a vb permissions problem. Now I see why at vb.com they insist on checking your hacks first.
