Ok, here's my question. I have my forum the way I want it and the them I want.

What if I dont' want to use that theme with my vba? Is there a way I can create my own custom style for just vba? if so which files would I have to tweak or edit.

Just edit your Default / Homepage page through your admin cp and change the 'Custom Style for this Page' setting.

so i could make my own custom style.xml and it would work for just that page? cool. thanks for answering me. i wasn't sure. ^_^

um. so. i've been taking a look at this. should i just create a .xml style from scratch and apply it. or could i do a it in php and have it apply to the homepage? i already have the style i want on the main page of my postnuke. how could i incorporate that the easiest to be on my vba index.

You would have to create a new style in vBulletin. Then just change the style setting I mentioned above so it will force the page to use that style.
