Let's say I have my forum installed and running properly on forum.armkb.com subdomain. Can I have vBadvanced CMPS installed on main domain - armkb.com and then forum link on navbar will get users to forum.armkb.com?

If it reads the link properly from the database it should be correct. Since you use an absolute path in vBAdvanced's file the subdomain really shouldn't pose a problem.
Haven't tried it though, I simply have the file in my forum directory and renamed to index.php. My vBulletin index.php has been renamed forum.php and specified in the ACP to allow vBAdvanced to link properly.

As long as they are both on the same server then you shouldn't have any problems. You may experience some issues with cookies, but if you do there's a post in the FAQ forum on how to fix that. ;)
