Is it possible to run links directory in the forum? i.e choose new thread or new link

The way I use links directory now is as a sort of Video Database. So my question is, am I able to make it so that new thread or new video (link) in the forum section of the site?

So that way I have a forum for video discussion, then people can post either a new thread or new video. So it will integrate better than the way I currently have it set up.

(See GamingVidz.com) I have vidz (links) in an entirely different section of the site as my forum.

Or is this not at all possible?

You could add the links of course, but you're not going to be able to show the content from your links directory within that forum without quite a bit of work.

Hmm, so as I'm a very inexperienced coder... there is no simple way to give the option for a member to post a thread or video (something that can be selected when a "new" button is pressed) and have the ability to turn the post new thread or video option off or on for various forums?

If there is an easy way, and perhaps my question just didn't make sense at first then let me know ;)... but if not, about how much could I be looking at to pay someone to do this (I can understand if you have no idea lol).

If there is no easy way then... do you ever have plans to do this in the future?

No, there is not a simple way. As for the cost, that would depend on a lot of things.
