Please go easy on me, I'm still a vBulletin baby. :)

I have installed CMPS on my site, it was installed by a professional as was my vBulletin.
On the mini calendar, I have all down the side this character >
There are 5 in a row, going straight down the side.
Also, down the side and across the top it is very dark blue.

I have not been able to find where to change those two items when it dawned on me that maybe it's a problem? If not, can someone please tell me where to go to fix it.

Although a VB baby, I am not afraid to jump in once I have good guidance.

It sounds like the template modifications weren't made. If you take a look at the install file, one of the first steps is the template modifications. Try making the changes to those, then if it still doesn't work, try applying the file changes to your functions.php and functions_calendar.php files.
