I was wondering, being a vB3 newbie and all, whether a mod exists to display latest news in the style of the Latest Forum Topics list? That is, news beyond what is already listed in the centre column.

If one doesn't exist, would anyone be willing to write one up, please, wherein you can specify what forum or forums the list will display?

The news archive shows posts just about the same way as the latest topics section. Just set your number of news posts to display and number of archived posts to display to the same number and they will all appear in the archive. ;)

Yeah, but I'm wanting it as a side block with the same appearance as the Latest Topics. Is it as simple as moving it to the right column?

Why don't you try it and see? ;)

Well I'll be danged... ;) My appreciation for the CMPS just went up several notches! :D

Is there a way to create a new module similar to that which draws posts from a different forum? Reason I'm asking is that on my site there's a Reviews forum and a Press Release forum, and I'd like to display the most recent 10 from each of those in side blocks as well.
