I've downloaded the CMPS, when I try to upload it using Core FTP, it always crashes the software.
I can't upload 1 file, I've used Core FTP for months and have no problems uploading anything else, I downloaded CMPS a few times thinking it might be corrupt but no luck. :(
Does anyone have any ideas? I can open the files fine, just as soon as I try to upload them it crashes my FTP.

I tried reinstalling and still problems, I paid for the licence of the FTP program so don't want to try another.
One of the errors I get when I try to upload is:
"The parameter is incorrect"

This must be a file corrupt problem. I can't even upload the noavatar.gif image, no files from the CMPS download will work uploading. :(
I have tried extracting all the files to desktop out of each folder and uploading individually or uploading by a folder at a time but nothing works.

That is the correct program, right? Assuming it is, what version of the program are you running? I just downloaded the trial 1.3 version and had no problems uploading files that were unzipped from here.

V1.3 Pro.
Very odd, I have no idea why. Could it be a server side issue?
I downloaded the .zip (PHP) version off here, the latest one.

It's possible that it's server side. You may want to try downloading WSFTP Pro and see if you still have a problem with it. They have a free trial version and that might help determine if it's a problem with your server or FTP program.

Works in WiseFTP, looks like a better FTP anyway so might as well give up on CoreFTP.
Thanks Brian.

I've uploaded all the files and it now gives me an:
Internal Server Error (500)
In the install file, the path in my index file is correct, it's placed in the root folder and my forum is in /forum/ directory, it's all correct.

It sounds like the install file was not fully uploaded, or perhaps you made some changes to it when no changes should be necessary. Have you tried re-uploading the file to see if you still have the same problem afterwards?

Uploaded it again (overwrited, same file size) and it worked at last! :D Great piece of software.
What FTP can you recommend using? Not having very much luck with them recently.

WS_FTP Pro is what I've been using for years. It's reasonably priced and has always worked well for me. :)
