Things are probably a bit slow right now since we're between releases. I would expect them to pickup again though once beta 2 is out. :)

Trying to be very patient here. LOL. It is mid week and you were planning on having it done the first of the month. I was hoping too. I have until Sunday to have the Beta 2 on my site for it to be useful for people that will be using it to hike the Appalachian Trail from end to end. It can be used now but I really need the time stamp function for it to be successful. Do we have another estimated date for Beta 2? I know we can not hold you to it and I am not trying to pressure you. Oh OK I am trying to pressure you a little. LOL.

I'm not sure if I will be able to finish things up by Sunday or not, but it should be close to that. If not, it should be safe to expect the release early next week.

Unfortunately I had some things come up over the weekend and wasn't able to work on the script like I thought I would be able to. I've got about 7-8 fairly minor things left on the to-do list and then just need to update the install file to include the new changes, so we should be getting very close to the release.

Super,

I know untill VBlog beta comes out, I imagine things might slow down a bit after this release. Obviously we're going to have to take a close look at their offering and ensure that this product has a way to compete. Keep up the good work Brian.

What Jelsoft is doing shouldn't really affect our current timeline in any way. Once beta 2 is released, then I'll probably let things set in for about a week to start getting a better idea of what exactly beta 3 will need to include, and it makes it easier that way to apply important fixes if I'm haven't already started adding new features and code to my dev files. I'll also try to take that opportunity to finish up an update for the CMPS if time allows. Then hopefully after beta 3 we'll be able to release the first public version and really get things rolling. I would assume that we'll have the first public version of vBa Blogicles available before Jelsoft has their new product available, but I have no idea what their timeline might be like. We won't worry about what features it has that might need to be included with vBa Blogicles until we can actually see it though, and won't slow down production just to see what they've come up with.
