This has nothing to do with Blogicles, but I do find it a pain for me and wanted to ask the question about this.

How come this site does not have "Database (automatic forum marking)" set up. I would like to see it setup so that is I get busy fixing an issue that you just told me I can leave the forums and go fix and and then come back later and read the posts that I have not read. The way it works now is if I read a reply to a fix you made I got to my site and do the fix and it it takes to long when I come back to this site it has all the messages marked as read.

I am sure you have a reason. Just wanted to know why and suggest that you change it.

It's set that way mostly because the normal cookie system is easier for me. I turned on the database mark read system for maybe a week when it was first added to vB, but that was making it too hard to get back to threads if I needed to find one I had already read. I think there were some other things that annoyed me about it too. Instead of using the "New Posts" link, I just go to Quick Links => Today's Posts. That makes it easiest for me since I can see the posts in order, and when I hit it again after I've gone through all the threads for the day then it's still easy to see what was posted while I was busy posting myself.

Ok, thanks for the answer. I could give a list of advantages but that would be a list from my prospective. It is your site. I guess I have just gotten used to it being used the other way. Thank you for your reply.
