Can you set it so that when a users does not have permission to click the REPLY button that is will not show up. I think that would be better then having it show up and have the person click on it and getting the message saying they do not have permission.

I decided to keep the button there since that can help entice guests to register and start posting. Otherwise, they may never know the option is there in the first place. If you would like to remove it though, you should be able to do so by wrapping this condition around the button/link:
