Hi,

I have been considering joomla and vBadvanced for quite a while now. I decided on vBadvanced because it was user friendly and was designed for vbulletin. I have a few questions though.

I would like to work on vbadvanced configurations before making it viewable. How do I do that? (I have html pages + vbforum)

I found translation add ons but I still need to edit some translations. Is that done through vbadvanced or vbulletin?

I have several hacks and mods and template edits on the forum...will this be an issue?

By default, the main CMPS file is called cmps_index.php. When you upload that to your server, nobody else will know it's there until you link to it or otherwise make it visible. So you can work on things without anyone knowing.

After you install the CMPS, two new phrase groups (vBa CMPS and vBa CMPS CP) will be added to your normal vBulletin phrase manager. You can translate the phrases there in the same way you can normal vBulletin phrases.

Shouldn't be. It's possible that some may not work with the CMPS page right out of the box, but most should. The CMPS will not affect the hacks on any of your other vB forum pages though.
