Is This Possible?

Ok, my forums are in my root directory. I want to install the cmps, but I do not want users to be able to access it. I still want everyone to go directly to my forums (root) when they go to my URL.

My question is, is there a way to install the CMPS for testing purposes, but make it look like there is not one there so that I can work on it and keep my forums live at the same time? Hope that makes sense =)

yes u can follow the normal installation steps on your forums will be functioning normally, without users getting axxs to cmps

When you first install the CMPS the file that's used for it is named cmps_index.php by default, so your users won't know it's there until you change the filename or link them to it.
