Sorry. Forgot about this post here. I got cold feet and deleted the original post. Here are the files. I am using it at my site now, it seems to be working.

The last steps show how to add a thumbnail to the category listing. But the upload process does not create thumbnails: so I haven't used that part and don't plan on it for now. It does work, but it scales the images for the IMG tag. Heavy on bandwidth, slow, and lousy thumbnail quailty. Good enough to just have an image for 'show link details' for now. Tha'ts what I say.
