[IMG] tags not being recognized.

Img tags codes on the news module are showing the code rather than the image itself. That means its not recognizing img tags ? But the tags are alright in the forum posts.

what can be done to fix this?

Admin CP => Maintenance => Update Counters => Rebuild Post Cache

Try running that option and see if it helps. If not, you may want to double check your news settings to make sure that you have [img] tags enabled.

the IMG tag is enabled and i have also enabled the html parsing but nothing changes. and the rebuilding cache also does not help either.
