Cannot get any of the modules to work

Whenever I upload a module through the upload/download module area, i cannot get them to show on the homepage. They show as enabled in the admincp (under edit homepage) and they are active as well. Can anyone help?

ok so when I add a Module myself it works fine. However, when I upload a module, nothing.....has anyone else encountered this?

Ok update: I installed microstats and im seeing the zointstagcloud module that i uploaded as one of my cache templates, but for the life of me cannot see the module on the page. This goes for the Affiliate module too...

Did you edit the module to make sure that your permissions were set properly? Even if they are, go ahead and save the moudle again just to make sure that the cache has been updated.

Permissions are active for everyone and I hit save again and still nothing....so wierd...

There's nothing else I can think of off the top of my head that might cause a problem like that. If you'd like to submit a support ticket via the Members' Area here though I'll be glad to take a look at things for you.

FYI: The fix was that i had "Clean File Output" as Enabled.....
