Here is the link to my vbadvanced portal page..... http://yourlincolnpark.com/lpsforum/index.php

See how the latest topics attached itself to the second post on this page instead of being on the right column?

Any ideas on how to fix that?

PS: I am real new to VB and this portal and any help is greatly appreciated.

No, the first post in on your page contains "quotes" you need to either remove the quotes or up the number of displayed charactors in your options.

Uh so quotes cannot be used in the subject thread? How can I stop users from doing this mistake in the future...

Ahh do you mean the quote tool or "?

And where would I up the characters which feature?

In the body? After the read on text...quotes = [ quote ] text text text..chopped

Thus it's missing the close tag. Which I think leads to the "quoted" effect of your right side bar..If I understand it right, try removing the [quote]. Personally for front page news I always add images way down the text i.e. after the first n chars as set in admin and avoid other tags.

Hope that helps without treading on toes as I pass through this evening.
