consider linking to what you've seen? especially any existing hacks.
Most anything that is a vbulletin hack can be made to work with vbadvanced.

What I use for teamspeak

If anyone likes this idea, let me know and I will explain how to do it..
Note: This will not work in a block module

Download this php script from the Teamspeak Fourms
http://forum.goteamspeak.com/showthread.php?t=1466
All instructions are included!
Modify the settings to your likes!
then create a module
This is what I used!
<table align="center" border="0" cellpadding="$stylevar[cellpadding]" cellspacing="$stylevar[cellspacing]" class="tborder" width="100%"><tr><td class="tcat"><span class="smallfont"><b>$vba_options[portal_blockbullet] Who's on Teamspeak</b></span></td></tr><tr>
<td class="$getbgrow" width="100%">
<iframe src="URL to Teamspeak post" height="800" width="100%" border="0"></iframe>
</td></td>
</tr></table><br />

Integrated with vBulletin (eg. it's a link to their profile) and ordered by username
What someone's gonna try to tell you he coded is code and a vBadvanced hack he stole from me and tried to post it at vbulletin.org.
take a look here:
http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?p=563502&posted=1#post563502 (post removed because i proved it)
and here:
http://www.s3squad.com/portal/showpost.php?p=6235&postcount=72
http://www.s3squad.com/portal/showpost.php?p=6242&postcount=73
http://www.s3squad.com/portal/member.php?u=2
And the look at his site: http://www.crosshairsofdoom.com where he uses the block and removes my Name and link from it.
Then bans me from his site when I ask him about it.
This is what the block looks like:
http://www.sf-elite.net (I even coded it to work with vbindex)
http://mafiafamily.net/html/ (And PHP-Nuke)
http://www.s3squad.com (And on my Squad's site as a PHP Include)
http://www.vbwar.com (ask Dark_Wizard about it...LOL)
Shame on you dude.....
Enough Said.
