I installed the vBadvanced CMPS today and it went pretty smoothly. I had set the application to update from one of my announcement forum IDs when I did the initial installation and the news items from that forum appeared on the home page as anticipated.
After re-working my forums a bit I decided to create a new forum specifically for the news items and changed the setting in my AdminCP to reflect the new forum ID.
Nothing changed.. For some reason, CMPS is still grabbing the topics posted into my OLD forum ID and ignoring anything I post into the new forum. I have tried rebuilding thread info, forum info and styles via the AdminCP but nothing seems to be resolving this issue. I even verified that the correct forum ID was listed in the settings table in the database for CMPS.
Where else is this value stored and can it be forced to change manually if the admin interface isn't doing it?
